Terms & agreements for the Plumeria Package

A deposit of $500.00 per room is required at time of booking to hold your reservations. Reservations may be cancelled if deposits are not received within seven days of your booking date. If reservations are made 45 days or less prior to departure, the entire payment must be immediately prepaid in full. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure, after which reservations are subject to cancellation. Full payment is due upon confirmation for reservations made within 45 days of departure.

 

Forms of Payment: Only cash or checks are accepted for the Plumeria package. There will be a 2.5% surcharge if you wants to use a major credit cards.

 

Last-minute Reservations: The Golf Desk accepts last-minute reservations, provided space is available, full payment has been received, and documents can be delivered prior to departure. Special overnight mail delivery, when required, is at client's expense.

 

Documents: The Golf Desk provides vouchers for all arrangements in a personalized wallet. Documents cannot be released until full payment has been received. Documents will be mailed within 30 days of departure. Early documents may be requested, provided full payment has been received. Airline tickets are issued with documents in accordance with air carrier policies.

 

Change Fees: A handling fee of $25.00 per booking will be assessed for any change. Changes made after documents are issued are subject to a $50.00 fee per person. If a change is made that affects the date of travel of the flight booked, air fares will be repriced to reflect airfares in effect at the time the change is made. The airline may assess change fees on specially priced airfares. Revision and change fees are waived if there is an increase in the number of passengers or the amount of the booking departing the same itinerary. For changes after travel commences, please see "Refunds".

 

Cancellations: Once a deposit has been received, there will be a $75.00 per person charge for any cancellation. Additionally, cancellation charges as assessed by the property or vendor may apply. Cancellations received after documents are issued, or less than 29 days prior to departure, are subject to a $75.00 per person charge. The airline may assess cancellation fees on airfares.

 

Refunds: Refunds of unused air transportation, if applicable, are subject to carrier tariff rules. In all cases, cancellation fees will apply. A 15% service fee will be assessed on all refunds made by The Golf Desk on any unused items, or on changes made after arrival by the client in the islands. Requests must be made in writing within 60 days of return date, or refunds will not be considered.

 

Cancellation and Waiver: To protect your travel investment, we strongly recommend travel insurance. We offer a comprehensive group policy that is less expensive than buying individual policies. To be able to offer it to you at this lower rate, our underwriter's have made it mandatory on all tour and cruise bookings. Since we at The Golf Desk fully support this form of protection, we are happy to comply with our underwriters demands. It is not included in the cost of your trip. If you wish to decline this coverage you must submit a request in writing. Please download the Insurance Waiver and fax it at 650-348-2782 or mail it back to our office.

 

Air Transportation: All air transportation including inter-island air (if applicable) is based on the lowest individual air fare available to The Golf Desk by the applicable carrier. The services of any participating carrier may be used at the discretion of the traveler. Under U.S. government deregulation of the airline industry, air fares can be protected from increase only by receipt of full payment and issuance of tickets. Changes to flight itineraries may result in an increased airfare. In order for the air fare to be protected, the entire airline itinerary must be paid in full.

 

Responsibility: This golf program is operated by The Golf Desk, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morello Travel Service, Inc., 200 Park Road, Burlingame, California, 94010. All tickets and coupons covering ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and other services and facilities furnished are issued as agents for other companies furnishing such services and facilities. The Golf Desk shall not be held liable for loss or damage to property or injury to persons caused by reason of any defect by any transportation company, hotel, or any property providing such services. The right is reserved by management to cancel or alter any program if conditions are warranted.
